BIOGRAPHY 

Dennis J. Chakey

Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Accenture Federal Services, Arlington, VA, USA


 

Mr. Chakey is a results-driven performance excellence professional with “Hands-On” Toyota Production System and Lean Six Sigma experience improving enterprise-wide business and manufacturing processes, leading organizational change and managing large scale projects.

A University of Pittsburgh Computer Science Baccalaureate and MBA graduate, Mr. Chakey has 20+ years of cross sector business exposure improving enterprise operating performance for technology, manufacturing, healthcare, service and government organizations. He has also served previously as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Program and the Pennsylvania Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE).

As an Accenture Federal Services Consultant operating out of the Arlington, VA office and a National Graduate School of Quality Management and New England College of Business Adjunct Professor, he currently assists the Eastern Region, United States Postal Service Master Black Belt, on all improvement and strategic planning initiatives.

The USPS Eastern Region operationally, consists of 35 processing and distribution centers, four national distribution centers and over 6,600 retail and delivery units.
