  BIOGRAPHY

Mark L. Cichonski

Executive Director, Tactegra, Concord, NC, USA

Communication and coordination are essential and learning how to influence others is a valuable skill that has earned Mark a reputation as a trusted adviser. Mark, analytical by nature, was drawn to the technical aspect of civil engineering early on and he gained other practical insight related to leadership, planning and process through the US Army and combat experiences. Mark’s adept transition between roles within corporate leadership and roles in consultancy has been fueled by his drive for process improvement and organizational development. His strategic role at Bank of America, as a Six Sigma master black belt, was pivotal as his span of influence expanded and he became a sought-after consultant for other corporations. With a competitive spirit and a compulsion to avoid lost potential, Mark initiates change and values the adage that it is “better to beg for forgiveness than to ask permission” because he knows when to push the boundaries to propel businesses beyond their perceived limitations. Mark views failures as lessons learned and encourages others in their efforts to grow; success is gained by taking calculated risks which is why corporate leaders seek out a trusted advisor. Mark Cichonski, through Tactegra, has developed proven solutions to the most common causes of project failures and is helping leaders identify land mines, leading them through intense analysis, to get to the root cause. His empirically based project management methods are crucial to success whether you’re planning for organizational growth or have found your project languishing. Tactegra’s Active Remote Model, or ARM, is specialized in results based, unique methods of managing people, process and technology to achieve project goals or develop entirely new revenue streams for corporations. Mark has impressive certifications, won numerous accolades and has even written a book, Collision Alert, but he welcomes prospective leaders to have their own conversations with him about their challenges and discover how A.R.M. can make the difference in their success story. After all, it pays to be a winner!
