The goal of any organization is to create the most value we can to stakeholders and continually increase that value over time. There is a universal challenge of getting teams aligned on this concept which can be propelled or throttled by the organization’s intended (or unintended) culture. While there is no silver bullet to achieve this, creating alignment on a “Better Way Everyday” culture requires a shared MIND set (what we refer to as a “Most Important Number & Driver” mindset).
The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the MIND Methodology to encourage leaders to discover their organization’s "Most Important Number" and the categories of work, or "Drivers", to align teams around the work they can do and the work they should do to create the most value for your organization. Using the MIND Methodology, an intentional “Better Way Everyday” culture drives financial performance. Everything your teams do should be with the intent of making the organization measurably better. Everything else is a waste of time and resources. Efforts to establish and reinforce a “Better Way Everyday” culture should pass that test. How we agree to the work matters, and the MIND Methodology will supercharge quality efforts and engage all teams at all levels to remain focused on the right work to forward the organization.
