Jared Evans

,Professional Instructor and Lean Process Coach, MasterControl, Salt Lake City, UT, USA


 

Jared Evans is a professional instructor and lean process coach at MasterControl with over two decades of experience with quality engineering, training and internal auditing in the high-volume semiconductor manufacturing industry, and in retail sales and management.

Evans has served as a consultant for Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, Micron, Target and Macy’s. He has conducted thousands of training sessions and over 550 internal audits – many involving ISO 14000 and ISO 9001 – and safety audits. Evans also has extensive experience as an auditee in factory audits evaluating safety, performance, and equipment processes covering manufacturing metrics and benchmarking.

Throughout his career, Evans has successfully facilitated innovation and change in technology-intensive environments using quality management, lean manufacturing and project management principles. His past projects include creating a leadership development curriculum and program, for which he generated formal processes and course outlines and topics to enhance the skill set of emerging leaders in an organization. He has also developed team communication boards and business processes to decrease job time, thus minimizing missed revenue each week.

Evans holds an associate degree in information systems and a bachelor’s degree in technology management. He is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), and the Association for Talent Development (ATD). He enjoys building homes with Habitat for Humanity and encouraging elementary-aged children to read.

Call for Proposals

Proposal Submission Deadline:

Who May Submit: This online form may be used by a principal speaker, co-speaker, contact person, or a committee member submitting on behalf of a speaker.

Multiple Proposals: You may submit multiple proposals.

Conference Registration Fee:
The conference registration fee is waived for the principal speaker of accepted proposals. Speakers are responsible for their travel expenses and arrangements. Co-speakers will receive a 30% discount for the conference that they are presenting at.

Length of Presentations: Technical sessions are typically 35 minutes. There will be a limited number of "double" sessions, 70 minutes, at the end of each day.

You will need the following to submit a proposal

Proposal Title: Maximum 80 characters including spaces. 

Keywords:Please include three keywords with a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces. 

Industry Sector: Please select the most relevant Industry sector for the proposal from a list.

Abstract: The Abstract should be 1,500 to 5,000 characters (note that it is Characters, NOT words), including spaces.

Biography: The Biography must be 1,500 to 5,000 characters, including spaces.
