Jonathan Flanders, LSS BB, MHSA, CPHQ, is serving as the Director of Performance Excellence at Sky Lakes Medical Center since June 2015. Since joining the hospital, Jonathan has developed and implemented the Performance Excellence infrastructure to govern Lean Six Sigma improvement activities to include leading a steering team, project selection, belt training and certification, project facilitation, etc. 

Before joining Sky Lakes, Jonathan served as a senior consultant for Juran, a global quality improvement consulting and training firm, for almost nine years. As a senior consultant, he worked with hospitals across the country training and facilitating projects in the areas of Lean Six Sigma and patient safety. Outside of healthcare, Jonathan provided training and coaching to manufacturing plants producing anything from microchips to toaster pastries. Before consulting, Jonathan served as the Lean/Patient Safety Officer for a 532-bed tertiary teaching hospital in Georgia for four years. Jonathan also has experience in retention strategy in Human Resources and as a medical technologist in the laboratory.
