ABSTRACT

For the Love of Chocolate! Innovating an MSA Test for Attribute Data with a Destructive Testing Technique to Generate Meaningful Results Attribute MSA’s are tough enough…But one where you EAT YOUR DATA??? We are going to take a close look at a situation where we needed to validate the Sensory Panel (Taste Testers) for a chocolate company…(Tough job right??). How do you set up the test? Which variables are the most critical? How do you ensure each sample is the same over the period of the test? How can we ensure a truly random selection and a double blind test? These questions and many more will be explored as we look at a test that is simple in most situations but incredibly difficult to execute in others. Learn how you can use innovative techniques to create custom tests for your unique situations and requirements! Not to mention those in attendance get to “sample the data” themselves!

Conference Chair's Message

Joel Smith

Continuous Improvement is not just something a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) practitioner leads their organization in practicing, but is also a core competency of their professional makeup. That is why more and more innovative and leading companies are looking for leaders that use the LSS way of thinking in everything they do within their organization.

In this era of data science and machine learning, the ability to connect the dots for end to end solutions across the boundaries of people, process and systems is the key to success. This year’s conference is focused on making sure we are “continuing” our journey as practitioners. Whatever your level of experience, you will learn new concepts, new perspectives and network with the best in the industry.
