Louie A. E. Hendon, III BSME, CPP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, RABQSA –Certified Lead Auditor, CCF Emerging Leader, DDI Certified Trainer Louie Hendon is a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist for the Cleveland Clinic. As a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist, Louie is responsible for building a “Culture of Improvement” throughout the Enterprise through the implementation of the Cleveland Clinic Improvement model and other continuous improvement programs. Louie also serves as a managing partner for the Institute for Organizational Excellence delivering facilitation and training for Lean Six Sigma, Leadership Development and other professional development at all levels of organizations. Louie’s previous assignment was as Client Services Manager at the Quality Group and as the Director of Quality Programs at Corporate College, responsible for Lean / Six Sigma program management. Louie holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Louie is also certified in Program Planning through LERN and has completed his second Lean Six Sigma Certification, adding a Black Belt Certification to his previous Green Belt Certification. Louie has also been recognized as a Certified ISO/TS 16949:2002 Supplier Auditor while completing the RABQSA-Certified ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor Training.
Louie has presented several topics both in Quality, Leadership and Professional Development. Some topics include An Overview of Quality and Process and Improvement, Lean Tools and Techniques, Developing the Leaders Within, Project Management, How to Conquer Giants, Goal Setting, and Team Building Workshops. Louie and his loving and talented wife, Alana, reside in the Greater Cleveland area with their three children, Kennedy Raine, Raegan Joi and Jaxon Myles Dwight.
