ABSTRACT

Quick Hit Projects for Fun and Profit! Sounds like the perfect Lean Six Sigma Project, eh? Or perhaps it’s a pipe-dream? Is it really possible to run a quick hit project that is profitable for the business and also fun for the participants? Much has been written about the profit of a project and the absolute necessity for a strong ROI. After all, if there’s no return, why pursue the project? Equally important is the project duration. If a project takes too long to execute its chances of ultimate success diminish as the duration draws out longer. However, there is a third element that is often neglected and yet can have a profound effect on the success of the project and the success of the entire organization. That third element is FUN.

Let’s find ways to make the project fun for the team, for example gamefication.

This talk explores all three aspects: quick hit, fun, and profit, with the emphasis on FUN.
