ABSTRACT
Bias is all around us. Individuals, teams and organizations are all susceptible to bias in decision-making, problem solving and process improvement - with real negative consequences. It is human nature to be biased. Using a couple short exercises, Marco will show how easy it is even for experts to fall prey to bias. Bias examples in projects like jumping to cause and solutions, selecting pet projects, invalid assumptions, data, information and other biases will be briefly discussed. Understand the prevalence and significant impact of bias on deployments and individual projects. Through increased awareness and tips, participants will immediately improve their ability to minimize bias and better their problem solving and improvement activities.
