the LSS practitioner is attempting to improve an existing process by
reinventing it to be more efficient, effective, and consistent while cutting
out waste. When running a typical Lean Six Sigma project the LSS practitioner
has 3 main objectives – understand the current process, analyze the process for
cost, time, and quality performance, and then transform the process. The LSS team
is focused mainly on the Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4 to map, analyze, eliminate waste,
and standardize the process.
