Billy Ingram is Director of Lean Product Development at Interface. He and his team partner with designers to bring new flooring products to life in a sustainable and lean manner. He has been practically applying sustainable concepts since he was first introduced to them at Interface by founder Ray Anderson in 1997. Prior to that he worked in the automotive industry where he learned and applied Lean principles. Billy enjoys software development in addition to his other pursuits and has successfully launched stand-alone and bolt on applications in multiple industries.

Billy earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management and an MBA both from Troy University. He has also earned Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma Green Belt certification during his career. He is currently broadening his knowledge base by studying TRIZ. Billy has been awarded three patents to date for innovative proprietary equipment.
