Diane Karch

Lean Consultant, Recaro Aircraft Seating, Fort Worth, TX, USA

Diane Karch is a Lean Consultant with RECARO Aircraft Seating with 20 years of continuous improvement experience. She earned her Black Belt certification through TMAC, an industrial extension program based at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Diane has utilized Lean and Six Sigma tools in various industries including automotive, aerospace and government. She has worked for various companies such as Johnson Controls Automotive, The Boeing Company and was a contractor for The Army Research Laboratory’s Survivability Lethality Analysis Directorate.

In 2014 she presented, ‘Line Feeding to Improve Efficiency’, at the Lean and Six Sigma World Conference in San Antonio. In that same year, Diane and her team were recognized by TMAC and U.S. Congressman Michael C. Burgess M.D. for “Successful Lean Six Sigma Implementation.”

Diane has facilitated LSS projects and coached/mentored multiple Green Belt candidates through their successful projects and attainment of their practitioner certificates. Additionally, she has spread the knowledge of LSS throughout the RECARO enterprise through global training.

As a Lean Consultant she advises Executive Leadership teams globally on their LSS deployment journey. During her tenure at RECARO, Diane coined The Awareness Method to help the organizations self-discover the internal supplier/customer relationships within a value stream taking the organization to a higher level of awareness.

Diane has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of North Texas.
