Harley Davidson’s First Pass Yield improvement Project realizing over $250K cost of quality savings; wheels sub-assembly to reduce cosmetic issues and high reject rate, realizing a 40% drop ($324K to $199K) in scrap rate from 1st Quarter 2016 to 2nd Quarter 2016 while Cosmetic issues dropped significantly. • Led industry team to develop a recommended practice for paint and finish performance identifying relevant ASTM test procedures and performance criteria
