BIOGRAPHY

Alessandro Laureani

Head of Global Operations and Systems, Google, Dublin 4, Ireland

Alessandro joined Google in 2010 and currently leads the process improvement team within the AdWords division that serves small and medium size business customers worldwide. In this role, he helps designing and maintaining efficient business processes. Before joining Google, Alessandro served as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Hertz Rent-A-Car Europe, delivering process re-engineering for the European Operations. Alessandro earned a bachelor degree in Statistic from University of Rome “La Sapienza”, and an MBA from University College Dublin; he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering management at University of Strathclyde Glasgow. He has published a number of academic papers on the topic of process improvement and Lean Six Sigma for the service industry.
