George Maszle, Senior Associate and Vice President, Business Process Management, Air Academy Associates. George has over 35 years of business experience in various leadership and consulting positions focused on improving organizational performance and strategic alignment. His experience includes support to large-scale services organizations and healthcare networks, including the VA New England Network of Medical Centers. While Vice President of Quality and Business Excellence at Xerox Corporation, George provided leadership in business improvement across all operations and geographies and was responsible for the alignment of performance plans and strategies. As Vice President Business Process Management, George has supported numerous clients including: Rochester Health Network, VA Prosthetics Leadership Team, VA New York & New Jersey, VA Acquisition Academy, Homeland Security USCIS, ServiceMaster, Bio-Rad Corporation, Jabil Corporation, Holley Performance, Flowserve Corporation, Energizer, Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and Healthcare organizations.

George has facilitated many leadership sessions and orchestrated industry benchmark exchanges resulting in improvement projects. In this role, he frequently exchanges ideas with and has supported several fortune 500 companies. Typical classes include strategic planning, business planning, capability assessments, end-to-end process management, value stream improvements, Visual Management Systems, Lean and Six Sigma methods, and project prioritization, selection and management. In addition to business support, his expertise and experience is often shared with Healthcare organizations, corporations, and government agencies.

George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Rochester, Simon School of Business. George is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt trained and holds a Certificate of Process Mastery from the Michael Hammer process management curriculum. He regularly conducts leadership workshops on these topics and has been a key presenter at various Lean Six Sigma conferences. For several years George actively participated on the Conference Board’s U.S. Quality and Six Sigma Councils, collaborating with business improvement executives from leading corporations and sharing best practices. He also supported the board of the Greater Rochester Quality Council and a variety of efforts to engage not-for-profit, community organizations and government entities in improvement initiatives. He is currently on the Board of Advisors for the Healthcare Business Academy (HBA), annually presents Performance Improvement strategies for healthcare, and supports a variety of Healthcare organizations across upstate New York through the Rochester Healthcare Fellowship Program.
