Leigh A. Schildmeier

Founder & President, Park Avenue Solutions, Phoenix, AZ, USA

Leigh Ann Schildmeier specializes in developing, training, and implementing continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies that help clients increase efficiency, improve quality and service, and increase profits. A frequent speaker and coach on process improvement topics, Leigh Ann is a certified Lean Practitioner, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and an experienced Kata Coach and instructor. Leigh Ann earned an MBA from Anderson University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering degree from Purdue and has worked with Lean Six Sigma since her undergraduate studies. She mastered the Lean “Kaizen” approach with coaching from the prestigious Harris Lean Systems, authors of “Creating Continuous Flow” and “Making Materials Flow”. Leigh Ann is president of Park Avenue Solutions, the process improvement consulting firm that she founded in 2005. With more than 20 years of experience, she has used her expertise to create value for businesses across multiple industries. Leigh Ann has applied Lean in companies with results in shop floor improvements, administrative improvement activities, and non-traditional events such as improvements to the hiring process. She continues her Lean Six Sigma journey through Park Avenue Solutions, working with her team and partners in diverse market sectors from manufacturing to healthcare to business services. Leigh Ann has been active with the American Society for Quality for many years, and currently serves as the Regional Director for ASQ Mountain Region. A long- time advocate for STEM education, Leigh Ann is also an Advisory Board Member for Purdue Polytechnic and is a sponsoring member of Women & Hi Tech and the Wabash Valley Lean Network. Leigh Ann is married with and has two Beagles. She is a foodie, avid golfer, car enthusiast, Reds Baseball fan, and a loyal Purdue Boilermaker.
