Kush Shah

Senior Manager, Operational Excellence, General Motors Corporation, Oakland Township, MI, USA

Kush Shah is globally recognized for his expertise, professionalism and outstanding contributions to the field of quality. He has a proven track record for solving tough quality problems. He has demonstrated his unwavering dedication in advancement of organizational excellence by introducing quality concepts for many organizations and individuals that resulted in significant improvement in organizational performance and customer experience.

Kush is currently a Senior Manager, Operational Excellence at General Motors and is responsible for providing OpEx training and coaching at all levels of organization globally. He was recognized as GM Professional Fellow for his significant professional contributions and endorsement by both internal and external experts in the field of quality.

He has served in many leadership positions at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) including National Director on the ASQ Board of Directors, the Chair of Automotive Division and the Chair of Detroit Section. Kush was recognized as an ASQ Fellow.

He holds many quality certifications through ASQ including Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Biomedical Auditor (CBA) and Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). He is also certified as Red X (Statistical Engineering) Master by Shainin LLC. He has received Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt Certification from the University of Michigan and then DFSS Black Belt Certification from GM.

Mr. Shah has received Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Who May Submit: This online form may be used by a principal speaker, co-speaker, contact person, or a committee member submitting on behalf of a speaker.

Multiple Proposals: You may submit multiple proposals.

Conference Registration Fee:
The conference registration fee is waived for the principal speaker of accepted proposals. Speakers are responsible for their travel expenses and arrangements. Co-speakers will receive a 30% discount for the conference that they are presenting at.

Length of Presentations: Technical sessions are typically 35 minutes. There will be a limited number of "double" sessions, 70 minutes, at the end of each day.

Call for Proposals

You will need the following to submit a proposal

Proposal Title: Maximum 80 characters including spaces. 

Keywords:Please include three keywords with a maximum of 100 characters, including spaces. 

Industry Sector: Please select the most relevant Industry sector for the proposal from a list.

Abstract: The Abstract should be 1,500 to 5,000 characters (note that it is Characters, NOT words), including spaces.

Biography: The Biography must be 1,500 to 5,000 characters, including spaces.
