Perian N. Stavrum, MBA, CMBB Sr. Director Program/Project Manager, Change Management Office Wolters Kluwer Perian Stavrum has been a senior leader with a large multi-national organization in the financial services industry for the last 35 years with leadership experience in finance, customer support, sales, business integration, program management and operational excellence. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over 15 years of experience through teaching Lean Six Sigma methods to colleagues across the world, and in leading efforts to improve the business processes in end- to-end value streams in a cross-functional, global organizational environment. Perian is a published author having written articles on the strategic uses of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methods. She is also a national speaker on operational excellence, discussing current trends in implementing process improvement methodologies. Perian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and an MBA from St. Cloud State University. She is currently a PhD candidate in industrial and organizational psychology, whereby, she is pursuing a passion for improving the relationship between the employer and the employee in today’s fast-paced organizational climate. While Perian is currently writing her dissertation on the cultural adaptation factors that relate to job burnout in middle managers who are working in companies that have been purchased through a merger and acquisition, her other research interests include employee engagement and the change management process. Perian resides in central Minnesota with her husband and their small pack of rescue dogs.
