LSS Deployment Leader, Edward Jones, Saint Louis, MO, USARadames Toro is a Deployment Leader in Firm Operational Excellence at Edward Jones. As part of the original operational excellence group, Rod led the deployment of this discipline in the Finance, Client Strategies Group and Compliance Division. Currently, he has been working in the Strategic Enablement Office assigned to Firm wide strategic initiatives. Originally from Puerto Rico, his father joined the US Military with the family going to Germany and then the United States. His undergraduate degree is in Journalism from the University of Georgia and has extensive graduate work at Wheaton Graduate School and National Graduate School earning a Master of Science in Quality Management Systems. He is a certified Quality Engineer, Lead ISO Auditor, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. As an active member in the American Society for Quality and his church, Radames has served as Chairman of various ASQ chapters (Saint Louis and Winona Minnesota) and Elder Board Chairman at his church, Saint Paul Evangelical Free Church in Saint Louis. Radames has trained hundreds of internal auditors, registered Quality Lead auditors; hundreds of green belts, black belts and master black belts. Throughout this process, Radames views himself as a continual learner first while helping others achieve their potential. Helping and developing others be the best they can be would be his motto. Having been a world traveler, Radames now enjoys the Saint Louis area and the multi-cultural experiences right here!
