Kam Gupta is president of Continuous Improvement Technology, a Buffalo Grove, IL based company. Founded in 1991, the organization is dedicated to help leaders, managers, and individuals create a life of their dream and a balanced approach in achieving professional and personal excellence through coaching, assessments, training, and consulting, including Standards based QMS in mfg and service industries.
Kam has successfully consulted and coached in companies to achieve excellence of the levels of Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, Lincoln award, and many international and customer driven standards of excellence. He has spoken at numerous organizations, including ASQ and its many divisions.
Kam has worked in diverse industries including power generation, pharmaceutical, process industries, manufacturing, education, electronics, cosmetics, and service sectors. Kam has successfully coached six sigma black belt champions, directors and other key leaders at various times.
A change enabler, Kam is an accredited Energy Leadership Coach and Executive Coach and an Emotional Intelligence professional. He is certified lead assessor for various ISO, automotive, and aerospace standards. Kam holds MS in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering. Kam Gupta is a Senior member of ASQ and has been its Regional Director for Region 12 and member of ASQ Board of Directors. As a team leader for Education and Training Initiative for curricula development roadmaps for the ASQ Kam helped in creation of harmonized body of knowledge for future educational and knowledge sharing by ASQ.
Kam has worked in companies including Eaton Corporation, Harley Davidson and Admiral Tool & Mfg. Co. in various positions of responsibility, accountability, and leadership to bring desired change in achieving customer focused quality excellence, manufacturing efficiencies and employee ownership and motivation. Kam speaks three languages including Russian and is learning Spanish.
