Gary Vance’s
30-year career has been predominantly in Operations Management with such
companies as Toyota, Rockwell International, Peterbilt and HON. Gary has served
in many technical, management and executive roles including Manufacturing
Engineer, Quality Engineer, Production Manager, Materials Manager, Operations
Manager, Plant Manager, General Manager, Lean Deployment Director and VP of
Operations. Gary has developed a high level of expertise in the fields of Lean
Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma. Gary earned his BSME from
Purdue University, MBA from Winthrop University, MSMSE from Kettering
University and doctorate in Business Administration from Liberty University.
Gary has been married to Cindy for 27 wonderful years and they have two
children, Sarah Grace (14 yrs.) and David James (10 yrs.) Gary and his family
live in Orlando, FL and in his spare time, Gary participates in triathlons, is
actively involved in his church and reads fiction novels.
